Cow and Pig Raising Projects for Families

Cambodia is an economically developing country with valuable agricultural resources. Farmers are still poor and unemployed in many areas due to a lack of education and funding.
The cow and pig bank project is a brilliant way to empower rural farmers in Cambodia, promoting sustainable agriculture and poverty reduction. By providing families with a valuable asset like cows and pigs, we're enabling them to generate income and improve their livelihoods.
We loan families a pregnant cow and pig, they must look after it and when it has the baby they get to keep the baby and we take our cow and pig back and then pass onto another family. Each family signs a contract to ensure our cow and pig is looked after and strict rules are followed to ensure the best outcomes for all parties. The funds raised help towards caring for the cows and pigs (veterinary checks and vaccination).
We provide cows and pigs to families through donations. It would be easy for farmers to get more money from raising cows and pigs they will get profit $1,170 USD in one year (if they sell).
The success of this project has been overwhelming, so much so that the long term goal is to have 500 cows and 1,000 pigs in the project which will make cows and pigs for the rural areas, one of Cambodia's biggest agriculture charity projects.
Our goal is to reduce poverty and increased the resilience of poor and vulnerable smallholder farmers in Cambodia. Especially at this time in history, self-sustainment can be life changing.
